Hyundai has teased its final vehicle for its 2015 SEMA line-up, which is a 500hp TJIN Genesis Coupe inspired by “underground racing”.

HYUNDAI HAS TEASED its 500hp TJIN Genesis Coupe ahead of the vehicle’s official reveal at SEMA on November 3. It’s the final ‘modified’ Hyundai to be shown and is the first time that US tuner Neil Tjin has worked with the Korean car maker “officially”.

The TJIN’s Genesis Coupe runs Hyundai’s 3.8-litre “Lambda” V6 engine, which has been boosted via a Vortech supercharger kit tweaked by Bisimoto Engineering. A “free-flowing” exhaust system, Vortech front mount intercooler and blow-off valve have all been added, allowing the Genesis to produce “more than 500hp”. Rotiform 19-in. 3-piece HUR wheels, custom Baer x CBA Extreme Plus brake calipers and Falklen FK345 tyres, ensure the thing stops as well as it goes.

The modified Genesis sits lower on KW coilovers and gets a Unique Fabrication supplied a custom front lip, rear spoiler and custom trunk lid, and the exterior was finished in a custom Kylie Tjin Axalta green paint job.
