BRABUS tunes 2015 Mercedes-Benz V-Class

BRABUS has released a bodykit for the 2015 Mercedes-Benz V-Class and Vito and fiddled with the engine, upping power by 33kW.

NOTED POWER AND styling tuners, BRABUS has released a bodykit and performance upgrade for the 2015 Mercedes-Benz V-Class and Vito vans. A bodykit has been fitted which includes a front spoiler that helps to reduce lift “on the front axle at high speeds, further optimising handling stability”. Er, okay.

At the back there’s a new three-piece rear bumper designed to show off the BRABUS sports exhaust system and four tailpipes. Finishing off the look of the thing are bespoke BRABUS Monoblock alloy wheels available in four designs in both 18- and 19-inch diameter. The ride height has been lowered by between 15-25mm with BRABUS spanner twirlers adding new springs calibrated to the standard shocks.

The engine cops a PowerXtra D4 performance kit for the Mercedes V 250 BlueTEC. The plug-and-play module boosts power output of the four-cylinder common-rail turbo-diesel engine by 33kW and bumps torque by 70Nm. This pushes power and torque to 173kW and 510Nm between 1400-2400rpm. 0-100km/h is dispatched in just 8.8 seconds.
