BMW has expanded its 4 Series LCI lineup with the addition of the new 420i LCI Luxury Edition model in both coupe and gran coupe.

The new model is available in BMW showrooms around Australia now, and both models – 420i LCI Luxury Edition Coupe and Grand Coupe – are priced from $74,900 driveaway. It adds to the recently released 4 Series LCI which differs in appearance to previous 420i models (slightly), thanks to a revised front apron and LED headlights, and rear L-shaped LED tail lights.

The Luxury Edition model adds some of the most popular 4 Series options to the standard 420i model (priced from $69,900 +ORCs) such as comfort access (keyless entry), metallic paint, electric sunroof and it also rides on the same 19-inch alloy wheels as the Luxury Line.

Inside, the staple 420i Dakota leather seats now come with electric heating as standard in the front row. Everything else is business as usual with the inclusion of an 8.8-inch infotainment system with iDrive6, DAB, driver assist, automatic tailgate (for gran coupe) and generous 445 litre boot.

“The refined look and feel of the BMW 4 Series LCI has been taken a step further with the 420i Luxury Edition models,”  said BMW Group Australia CEO, Marc Werner.

“With even higher standard specification, the Luxury Editions highlight the 4 Series’ restrained blend of elegance and dynamic performance.”

Performance remains unaltered, with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing the same 135kW and 200Nm of power as previous 420i models.
