The all-new 2019 Toyota Supra will be revealed in production form at the Detroit Motor Show in January and arrive in Australia in the second-half of 2019.

The all-new 2019 Toyota Supra has been teased in pre-production form with Toyota even allowing the media to drive it, but details have been thin on the ground. Overnight, Toyota announced the new Supra would be revealed at the Detroit Motor Show in January.

Toyota Australia has confirmed that it expects the new Supra will go on-sale here in the second-half of 2019.

In a short statement accompanying the above teaser image, Toyota said: “Although Toyota ceased production of its highly popular flagship sportscar in 2002, it was revived in the form a GR Supra Racing Concept at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, demonstrating the intention to bring Supra back to the market”.

Supra, in prototype form, was also rolled out at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, and earlier in October it took part in a VLN Endurance Championship race at the Nürburgring in Germany, completing the race as part the vehicle’s development program.
