Despite the word ‘confidential’ watermarked on the images, a Suzuki insider has taken snapshots of the new Jimny and shared them with the world.

LOCALLY, SUZUKI HAS JUST announced it will stop bringing in its Celerio micro car but it seems that work on a new Jimny is continuing apace. Late last week, spy photographers caught a camouflaged Jimny testing revealing a continuing of the current vehicle’s boxy look but with styling taking on a more retro flavour.

Gone are the square look lights replaced with circular headlights, the taillights down on the bumper and a spare wheel still hung off the back door. Following the spy photos, a Suzuki conference showed slides of the completed Jimny.

Details are still incredibly thin on the ground but what is plain from the interior shot is that the new Jimny will feature a large, centrally mounted touchscreen and refreshed switchgear.
