The 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk has been revealed ahead of its global debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January.

FOLLOWING IN THE WHEEL ruts of the Wrangler, Jeep has revealed images of the 2019 Cherokee ahead of its official reveal; set for the Detroit Motor Show in January. Jeep hasn’t said anything about it at all other than releasing a few images. The red vehicle shown at the top of the page is the Cherokee Trailhawk with its red tow hooks taller stance and more aggressive wheel and tyre package.

As expected, the new Cherokee adopts the single headlight style from both Grand Cherokee and Compass. It clearly looks like a shrunken Grand Cherokee but with enough of its own styling to retain its own personality.

On the inside and the styling tweaks over the old model are just that, tweaks only with some slight softening of edges here and there, but that’s about it. The air vents are all roughly the same shape and style, the centre stack is the same but we can expect an update to the infotainment unit.

Jeep didn’t say anything in the release accompanying the images other than we can expect fuel efficiency improvements. Stay tuned for more information.
