The 2019 Ford Everest will go on-sale in September boasting improved safety features, equipment and a new engine and transmission option.
THE REFRESHED 2019 Ford Everest will go on-sale in September and launch to the media in August (Practical Motoring will be attending the drive – stay tuned) and sees the 4×4 wagon get improved standard features, new engine choices and improved active safety.
Speaking about the updated Everest, John Willems, Chief Program Engineer, said: “Australians can expect to see impressive new content options including a 500Nm Bi-Turbo engine with greater towing capacity, push-button start and Autonomous Emergency Braking, offering state of the art technology while retaining Everest’s value proposition”.
Although there has been a slide drop off in sales in the Large SUV segment (3.7 per cent), according to VFACTS, Everest sales in 2018 have jumped by 43.7 per cent year-on-year.

There are a handful of extra-cost options available for the Everest, including third-row seating for the Ambiente at $1000, Tow bar for the Ambiente and Trend which is also $1000, Prestige Paint for the Ambiente and Trend at $700. There are also two no-cost options, including 18-inch alloys and suspension package, as well as fabric and non-power driver’s seat pack for the Trend which includes, non-leather gear lever, cloth seat trim and six-way manual adjust driver’s seat.
