Following the international launch of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class local pricing and specification has been announced with an on-sale of April 2018.

MERCEDES-BENZ has announced local pricing and specifications for the new X-Class. Launched a couple of weeks ago, you can read Practical Motoring’s first drive HERE… it will arrive in Australia in April next year (2018) with around 13 variants on-sale.

The X 220 d is available with either with rear-wheel drive only, or with engageable all-wheel drive. The X 250 d is only available with engageable all-wheel drive. As standard, the X 220 d and X 250 d come with a six-speed manual transmission. A seven-speed automatic is optionally available for the X 250 d only (it costs $2900). A high-power V6 diesel (190kW and 550Nm) will arrive here from mid-2018 – pricing hasn’t been released for this model.
