The 2016 Suzuki Baleno has been revealed ahead of its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

THE 2016 SUZUKI BALENO has been revealed, in part, ahead of its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show which will run from mid-September. The Baleno will be revealed in full on the 15th September.

At the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, Suzuki showed off the iK-2 Concept which was the precursor to this production version of the Baleno. Suzuki says, “The Baleno harmoniously combines stylish design, spacious interior and new technologies”.

Not much is known, but the new Baleno will debut Suzuki’s new 1.0-litre BOOSTERJET direct injection turbocharged petrol engine. Suzuki says, “Fuel efficiency has been improved by reducing engine displacement; output and torque are boosted by using a turbocharger”.

The new Baleno should be a shoe-in to come Down Under and could be here by next Winter.
