2015 Ford Mustang RTR revealed
Vaughan Gittin Jr has revealed his 2015 Ford Mustang RTR Spec I and Spec II kits on the eve of the SEMA show in Las Vegas.
AFTER TEASING an image of his 2015 Ford Mustang RTR, legendary US drifter, Vaughan Gittin Jr has revealed the vehicle in full and it’s probably the best looking of the modified Mustangs we’ve seen over the last few weeks.
While some tuners are focussing on just one model of the Mustang, the new RTR will be available in both Spec I and Spec II across the entire range, from the EcoBoost four-cylinder through to big banger 5.0-litre V8.
Like other tuners, and unlike we suggested earlier in the week, the RTR Spec I kit will be cosmetic only, with a new grille and front and rear spoilers and a diffuser with integrated splitters. Spec II will get the Ready to Rock (RTR) treatment with suspension and brake mods, adjustable sway bar and a bespoke exhaust system, there’s even talk of a cost optional supercharger change to lift output.
There’s no word on pricing for the two kits, but we’re expecting more information when the 2015 Ford Mustang RTR is revealed in full at SEMA.
