Ford has released details on its new 2015 Falcon line-up confirming SYNC2, digital radio, and Emergency Assistance are now standard across the range.

THE 2015 FORD FALCON is due to be launched in mid-November and will be the last-ever Australian-produced Falcon when local production ends in 2017. The Falcon range is available with four, six and V8 engines.

There are six model variants to choose from, including: Falcon, Falcon G6E, Falcon G6E Turbo and the sporty performance variants, the Falcon XR6, XR6 Turbo and XR8. And there are five utility models: Falcon Cab Chassis, Falcon Styleside box, Falcon XR6 Cab Chassis, Falcon XR6 Styleside box and Falcon XR6 Turbo Styleside box.

Like the 2015 Territory, Ford Australia says it’s responded to customer feedback and made the following changes: Emergency Assistance (all models); Front and rear parking sensors (all sedan models); Reversing camera (all sedan models); Rain-sensing wipers (G6E, XR series); SYNC2 with 8-inch colour touch screen (all models); Voice control system developed in partnership with Nuance (all models); Digital Radio (DAB+) (all models); Dual antenna system (all models); Wi-Fi hot spot (all models); New alloys (all models)

Ford has withheld specification details for the XR8 which it will release in early October. The same goes for pricing which will be released later in the year.
