Ford reveals 2015 Territory line-up

Ford has announced the model line-up for its refreshed 2015 Territory SZ MkII range with Ford’s SYNC2 connectivity system and Emergency Assistance now standard across the range.

THE UPDATED 2015 Ford Territory will be launched mid-November and from this first shot of the interior, it’s obvious the interior has been largely carried over, with the notable exception being the inclusion of SYNC2 across the 2015 Territory range. There are three variants to choose from, TX, TS and Titanium and these are available in either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The 4.0-litre in-line six cylinder petrol and 2.7-litre V6 TDCi engines carry over in the refreshed Ford Territory line-up.

Ford claims many of the changes to its 2014 range are directly based on customer feedback. The changes include: Emergency Assistance (all models); Front- and rear-parking sensors (all models); Reversing camera (all models); Rain-sensing wipers (Titanium); SYNC2 with 8-inch colour touch screen (all models); Voice control system developed in partnership with Nuance (all models); Digital Radio (DAB+) (all models); 2 x USB ports, SD card slot and Auxiliary jack (all models); Dual antenna system (all models); Wi-Fi hot spot (all models); New alloys (all models).

Cosmetic enhancements across the range have seen Ford off more specification to keep the 2014 Territory competitive with the growing range and increasing sophistication of modern, mid-size SUVs. For instance, the Titanium gets new 18’-inch alloy wheels, SYNC2 infotainment system, rain-sensing wipers, stainless steel scuff plates, front fog lamps and side steps, as well as rear-seat roof-mounted DVD player and seven seats.
TS customers gain new features previously reserved for Titanium including privacy glass, exterior side mirrors with inset indicators and a new front fog lamp design. 18’-inch alloy wheels (new design), standard seven-seats and cloth seats with leather side bolsters carry over from the current TS model. The 2014 Territory TX gains new features including new-look 17-inch alloy wheels, an 8-inch colour touch screen with SYNC2 and also a reversing camera (now a standard feature across the Territory range).
