Prodrive Racing Australia has revealed the Ford Falcon FG X V8 Supercar – the last-ever Ford-backed V8 Supercar will get its public debut in February.

PRODRIVE RACING AUSTRALIA has revealed the final iteration of the Ford Falcon V8 Supercar, the FG X, in a teaser video. Jointly developed with Ford Performance Racing and Ford Australia, the video shows off the car’s bodywork which has apparently already been put through its paces in aero testing at Ford Australia’s You Yangs proving ground, ahead of homologation testing in January.

2015 Ford Falcon FG X V8 Supercar revealed

The Falcon FG X V8 Supercar will get its public debut at the two-day V8 SuperTest to be held at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 7-8.

The Falcon FG X V8 Supercar marks the beginning of the end for Ford’s official involvement in V8 Supercars. The Blue Oval recently announced it will withdraw from the sport at the end of the 2015 season.
