2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider caught
Italian motoring website Autoblog Italy has caught the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C while it was shooting a TV commercial.
DUE TO HIT the market in 2015, the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider was teased as a concept back in March at the Geneva Motor Show. The transition from concept to production model have been relatively minimal (see more at Autoblog Italy), the headlights seem to have been carried over with the addition of cooling ducts for the brakes and, sadly the centre-mounted dual exhausts split and moved to either side, seemingly the only difference.
Transforming a coupe into a convertible is always a tricky process and the result can be somewhat messy, but that’s not the case with the 4C Spider which is every bit as gorgeous as its hard-topped sibling. If anything it’s better looking.
Like the coupe the drop-top 4C is powered by the same 1.7-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine which makes 177kW and 350Nm of torque. Despite some weight gains (around 60 kilograms) the 4C Spider is predicted to get to 100km/h in around 4.5 seconds.
So, what do you think, better looking than the 4C coupe? Best looking Alfa in recent memory?
