Ford has revealed pricing for the 2014 Falcon range with price cuts across the board.

FORD HAS ANNOUNCED prices for its 2014 Falcon range with almost all models seeing a price reduction compared to current prices, while receiving improved features and equipment levels. The headline news is the $9685 drop in the list price of the 2014 G6E Turbo which will list fromĀ  $46,550 (+ORC) when it goes on-sale later this year. The naturally-aspirated and turbocharged XR6 models have also had prices slashed byt $3045 and $4400, respectively.

According to Ford the rest of the 2014 Falcon line-up has seen price reductions of between $1335 and $6625.

Pricing for the 2014 Falcon line-up:

  • Falcon 4.0L Petrol (auto) $35,900 (+ORC);
  • Falcon XR6 4.0L Petrol (manual) $35,590 (+ORC);
  • Falcon XR6 4.0L Petrol (auto) $37,790 (+ORC);
  • Falcon XR6 Turbo 4.0L Petrol (manual) $42,990 (+ORC);
  • Falcon XR6 Turbo 4.0L Petrol (auto) $45,190 (+ORC);
  • Falcon G6E 4.0L Petrol (auto) $40,110 (+ORC); and
  • Falcon G6E Turbo 4.0L Petrol (auto) $46,550 (+ORC).

The EcoLPi engine is available on Falcon sedan, Falcon XR6 sedan, and is $2500 premium over the naturally-aspirated 4.0-litre petrol engine, while the six-speed ZF sequential automatic in the sporty XR6 and XR6 Turbo adds $2200. Pricing for the 2014 Falcon XR8 sedan will be revealed early next month (October).

Falcon Ute also sees price cuts to the MLP for XR Series utes of between $1380 and $3750. Like the Falcon Sedan, the EcoLPi option on the Falcon Ute is a $2500 premium and is available on Cab Chassis, Styleside Box, XR6 Cab Chassis and XR6 Styleside Box models. Falcon Ute customers now have a standard six-speed automatic, while optioning the six-speed ZF automatic transmission in Falcon XR6 Ute adds $2200.

The 2014 Falcon range also gets myFord Capped Price Servicing as standard, which includes the addition of motoring club membership and roadside assistance.
