Ford has added the Ranger Sport to the local line-up this month sitting between the XLS and XLT variants – 600 available.
The 2019 Ford Ranger Sport has gone on-sale this month and sits between the XLS and XLT variants. According to Ford, “The Ranger Sport brings a sports-oriented colour range that sets off its go-anywhere spirit of adventure. In its hero True Red paintwork, Ranger Sport shows off its contrasting black front grille, mirror caps, door handles and black alloy wheels, which at 17-inches are an inch larger than those on Ranger XLS. Sport also sees sidesteps, a matte black sports bar and bedliner as standard, adding to its practicality while bolstering its distinctive looks”.
Dual-zone climate control is standard on Ranger Sport, so is keyless entry and push-button start, DAB+ Radio and a dual 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster – all part of the Sport’s standard SYNC 3 package which includes an 8.0-inch full-colour touchscreen, voice-activated sat-nav, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity.
