Design sketches of 2016 Kia Sportage released
Following the launch of the Hyundai Tucson, its Kia cousin, the Kia Sportage has been ‘revealed’ in in new design sketches.
OVERNIGHT, KIA HAS revealed a handful of design sketches for its 2016 Kia Sportage which will be revealed in full at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month. The Sportage, in case you’re not aware is a virtual twin-under-the-skin with the Hyundai Tucson, as was the Sportage and the ix35.
If the sketches are anything to go by, we can expect a swoopy looking SUV or, one that Kia says “features a bold, progressive design, which exudes power and agility from every angle. The dynamic compact SUV styling creates visual harmony out of the tension between bold, precise feature lines and dramatically-sculptured bodywork”.
“Inside, the all-new Sportage marries simple, modern style with rich material quality for Kia’s most refined, highest-quality cabin to date,” the short statement read.
According to Kia’s short statement about the new vehicle, this new Sportage “represents the future face of Kia,” which clearly means this new SUV will set the agenda for a raft of refreshed metal.
