Stunt driver Terry Grant has beaten his own world record for the fastest mile travelled on two wheels, driving a Nissan Juke NISMO RS.

UK STUNT DRIVER Terry Grant broken his own world record and set the world’s fastest mile travelled on two wheels in a four-wheeled vehicle, and he did it with a Nissan Juke NISMO RS at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Grant was allowed six attempts over the course of this weekend’s Festival of Speed but managed to break the record on his first attempt, setting a time of 2m10s. His previous record was 2m55s set driving a Nissan Juke at the Festival of Speed in 2011.

Grant said: “I was shocked at how much faster the Juke NISMO RS was and to take 45 seconds off what was already a quick time, was unbelievable.

“To break it by so much on my first attempt was a great way to kick off the weekend and I’m looking forward to seeing if I can go faster.”
