Spied uncamouflaged in Japan ahead of its reveal at the New York Motor Show next month, the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander will launch here later in April.

MITSUBISHI HAS teased the snout of its new 2016 Outlander for its New York Motor Show and now a Japanese photographer has snapped the medium SUV’s nose without the mood lighting of the official shot. Looking sharper than the current Outlander, the 2016 model clearly borrows from the Outlander PHEV-S Concept revealed at the Paris Motor Show last year (2014).

We’ll get a better look at the new Outlander when it’s officially revealed on April 1 (April 2, Australian time) and Practical Motoring will be attending the local launch later in April.
