It’s Friday again already and it’s time for another batch of car videos to get you through the weekend, or at least the next few minutes.

1. Mark 2 by Callum

Jaguar Cars director of design, Ian Callum, has unveiled his take on the Jaguar Mark 2. The reengineered Mk2 was unveiled at the opening of Classic Motor Cars Limited’s new headquarters (the team that worked with Callum to redesign and reengineer) the classic Jaguar. The hanky was whipped off by legendary Jaguar test driver, Norman Dewis… what do you think?

2. It was a dark night … along came a Volvo XC90

Just 24 hours after images of the Volvo XC90 were leaked online, the Swedish car maker had to rush forward its reveal of all things XC90. So, out came the final images and a handful of videos, here’s one of them that shows the thing running through the forest at night. Why’d we include it? Because of those Thor’s Hammer headlights. They look beaut, don’t you think?

3. The noise … oh, goodness … the noise!

Okay, so it’s been widely reported that the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG should probably actually be called the C40 AMG. Huh? Well, the 6.3-litre V8 has been binned in favour of a 4.0-litre biturbo V8 engine that’ll appear in the M-B AMG GT, albeit slightly detuned. No matter, here’s some video of the not-so camouflaged Estate running around the Nurburgring. Sit back and pump up the volume.

4. Porsche 911 goes rallying

Back in the, ahem, old days Porsche was well known for tearing up the odd rally stage, indeed the first-generation 911 managed a 5th place in the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally. Since then, the 911 has dominated just about every type of racing … oh, who am I kidding, you’re not still reading this… watch the film.

5. 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally

And now that you’ve seen the latest generation 911, settle in and watch a ‘long’ video of the Porsche 953 taking on the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally. Short on time? Fast-forward to 19:44 to see the Porsches cross the open dessert and 29:09 to watch one of them tackle the dunes.
