The refreshed 2016 Mazda BT-50 has been revealed ahead of production beginning in Thailand, with a local launch expected in the second-half of 2015.

MAZDA HAS REVEALED a single image of the refreshed 2016 Mazda BT-50 ahead of production beginning at Mazda’s Thailand-based factory. In a short statement, Mazda said it would launch the vehicle locally towards the end of this year.

Mazda is keeping quiet on key details, but has said the refreshed BT-50 will carry-over its engines and line-up from the previous model, and a reversing camera has been added as standard for the first time on BT-50. There’s no word yet on pricing, or full specifications.

“The new BT-50 maintains the versatile practicality and exhilarating driving performance of the current model but the design has been updated to give it a sportier and more powerful presence than ever before. The new styling incorporates a newly designed front face, rear combination lamps and aluminium wheels,” Mazda said.
