Hyundai has revealed a design sketch of its new-generation i20 Coupe to sit alongside the recently revealed five-door i20.

DETAILS ARE THIN on the ground, but the sketch seems to suggest that the third door would be placed in the passenger side of the vehicle as per the three-door Veloster. Like the five-door version, New Generation i20 Coupe was designed and developed at Hyundai Motor’s Design Centre Europe in Rüsselsheim, Germany.

In this first official sketch, you can see how the i20 Coupe is taking shape, featuring a more sharply-raked roofline with a roof spoiler and, in keeping with the rest of the range the long bonnet and hunkered down stance give the Coupe an aggressive appearance, or at least they give the sketch an agressive appearance. Standing this model apart from the rest in the range will be the wrap-around rear window and unique treatment for the tail-lights.
