US tuner, Hennessey, has announced it will offer three power upgrades for the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette ZO6 when it goes on-sale.

THE 2015 CHEVROLET Corvette Z06 hasn’t even been released yet and tuning house, Hennessey, has revealed details of three power upgrades it plans to offer for the thing next year. The entry-level upgrade will see the Corvette Z06’s output rise from 650hp or 485kW to 750hp or 559kW. Stage 2 and 3 kits will see a larger supercharger (2.9-litre vs 1.7-litre) bolted onto the Corvette’s 6.2-litre supercharged V8, bumping power to 850hp (634kW) and 1000hp (746kW).

The stage 1 kit will come with a three year, 36,000 mile warranty while stage 2 and 3 get only a one year, or 12,000 mile warranty. Beyond the power upgrades, the Hennessey upgrade kits include custom Hennessey badges, wheel upgrades and carbon-fibre scuff plates.

Nowhere in the technical specs for the upgrade kits is there any talk of bigger brakes or suspension upgrades. Hmmm. Watch John Hennessey talk about the 2015 Corvette Z06 at the recent SEMA show in Las Vegas.
