Meet the Dartz Prombron Black Shark … it can withstand small arms fire, repel magnetic mines and allow owners to order a private jet via the tap of a button on one of its two smartphones.

IT MIGHT LOOK like something out of the latest Batman movies, but what you’re looking at is the Dartz Pombron Black Shark. The name is based on that of a Russian attack helicopter and is built off a Mercedes-Benz GL-Class platform.

Only five of these vehicles will be built and more details will be released tomorrow – Dartz (or Russo-Baltique as it was formerly known) used to supply vehicles to the Russian military during WWI before it was disbanded in 1923. October 19 represents the 100th anniversary of a particular infantry unit it wants to celebrate. Yes, it’s a little confusing.

The Prombron Black Shark will be offered with a choice of two engines, either an M-B V8 biturbo or a V12 biturbo with up to 1500hp. It receives bullet proofing up to B7 (the highest rating for a civilian vehicle) and is capable of withstanding small arms fire; the body is made from kevlar and titanium to stop magnetic mines; the door handles retract into the body and there’s an electric-shock function. Accessing the vehicle uses retina and fingerprint scanning. It’s also 

Buyers will also receive two Vertu V2 smartphones, allowing them to, via an app called BlackJet, book a private jet at the tap of a button, and provide access to a 24-hour concierge service. Oh, and Dartz also offers a telecommunications jammer.
