To celebrate the launch of the Nismo brand in the Middle East, the Nissan performance house has released a 319kW Patrol NISMO.
TO CELEBRATE opening its doors across the Middle East, Nismo, Nissan’s in-house performance arm has revealed a 319kW Patrol Nismo which will be available only in the Middle East. The performance Patrol was launched alongside a 370Z Nismo and GT-R Nismo which are also being sold locally.
The details are still thin, but we do know is that the Patrol Nismo gets a sporty looking bodykit (which NISMO says is a “segment first zero-lift aerodynamic body kit”) with Nismo red accents and a tweaked interior with red piping on the seats. The Patrol Nismo sits on 22-inch RAYS forged alloys, gets a fiddled-with steering system, new Bilstein shock absorbers, and “body reinforcements”.
But what about the engine? Well, it keeps its stock engine but this has been breathed on by Nismo and now thumps out 319kW, or 21kW more than standard so should improve on the standard vehicle’s 0-100 time of under seven seconds. There’s no word on whether it gets more torque, but Nismo has said peak torque is now available across 70% of the rev range. We have tested the Y62 offroad, but doubt we’ll get a chance to run this one over the same terrain!
