The 2016 Kia Optima has been revealed ahead of its global debut at the New York Motor Show next week (April).

KIA HAS RELEASED an image of its all-new 2016 Kia Optima ahead of its official debut at the New York Motor Show on April 1 (April 2 AEST). Details are thin, but Kia says it’ll be “Available with multiple engine choices, the all-new Optima features a more spacious interior, class-up premium features and a number of technologies not previously offered on Kia’s best-selling mid-size sedan”.

It’s likely we’ll see a wagon variant, as previewed by the recent Sportspace concept, either at the New York Motor Show or shortly after. And while Kia hasn’t announced engine choices, it’s possible it’ll make a diesel-electric hybrid available which was previewed by the Optima Hybrid-T Concept shown at the Paris Motor Show last year.
