Ford is set to take the wraps off its 2015 Ford Focus RS tonight Australian time, but images surfaced on the internet earlier today.

THE INTERNET has struck again with images of the 2015 Ford Focus RS leaking online via Jalopnik ahead of its official reveal later tonight our time (12.30-1am).

Details are still non-existent, although Ford Belarus might have accidentally spilt the beans last week when it published, via its Instagram : “Magnificent Focus RS is coming. 2.3 EcoBoost from New Mustang, 320 hp, and all-wheel drive (AWD). And it is something we are waiting for February 3, at the launch of the public. And yet – Stay tuned, guys.”

2015 Ford Focus RS leaked online

We know the Focus RS will be a global car and will be available in Australia sometime in 2016, but beyond that little is known about the hyped high-performance Focus.

The photos reveal an aggressive looking machine, although not as over the top looking as its predecessor. There are blistered guards, deep skirts and chin as well as a roof-mounted spoiler.

We’ll have better images and more information first thing in the morning. But, as Big Kev used to sort of say: we’re excited.
