Dodge has launched the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, the most powerful Dodge V8 ever.

ARRIVING IN US DEALERSHIPS later this year, the all-new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT, with its supercharged 6.2-litre HEMI Hellcat engine, produces 527kW and 88Nm of torque, making it the most powerful Challenger ever, and Dodge’s most powerful V8 ever.

More than just being the most powerful Dodge V8, the 6.2-litre supercharged HEMI V8 is also the company’s first factory-supercharged V8 engine. And in a show of restraint, the 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat comes with two key fobs: red and black. The red one allows access to the full 500+kW while the black key fob retards grunt to just 370kW.

In addition to the HEMI Hellcat engine, the new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has been redesigned and totally re-engineered, running a new TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-new interior inspired by the classic 1971 Challenger.
