Ford Australia has released a new video on YouTube showing a heavily camouflaged Falcon XR8. We’re expecting to see more of the car tomorrow (July 25).

FORD CONTINUES TO DRIP FEED information about its new 2014 Falcon range, this time via a YouTube clip about the lengths at which it has gone to keep the car hidden from prying eyes.

Last week, we ran an article quoting Ford NZ public affairs manager, Tom Clancy, we learned the 2014 Ford Falcon XR8 would be revealed in all its glory tomorrow (July 25) – the new Falcon range goes on-sale in December. Until then, this teaser video will have to do. And it reveals quite a bit.

For instance, we can see the headlight design, and the overall proportions of the car, despite being hidden-ish, also the new grille and wheels can be made out. The last hurrah for the Falcon is expected to see a new front and rear end with styling cues from the Ford Fusion. The XR8, obviously, will stand apart from the range with its unique bumpers, exclusive wheels, Brembo brakes, and a sports exhaust system as the key styling differentiators.
