The new Honda Civic Hatch is available with a limited-run Orange Edition accessory pack, as well as a run of Black Packs.

FOLLOWING THE SUCCESS of the ‘Black Pack’ for the Honda Civic sedan, Honda has announced it will be providing a limited-run of ‘Orange Edition’ packs for its new Honda Civic Hatch.

The new Civic Hatch arrives in five different model grades and is priced from $22,390+ORC, but the Orange Edition will provide a level of exclusivity to buyers who can get one. With just 100 Orange Edition accessory packs available, the motorsport inspired colour scheme provides an extra edge of sportiness but it is not available on the line-ups ‘sportiest’ model.

The Orange Edition is available on all but the RS model, which features Type-R inspired central exhausts, instead its ‘s option for the VTi, VTi-S, VTi-L and VTi-LX. And only on cars painted in either white, silver, grey or black.

Opting for the pack will add an orange front and rear under spoiler, orange side skirts, a door and mirror decal set and special black 17-inch alloy wheels.

“The ‘Black Pack’ edition proved to be extremely popular with dealers and customers when we launched the all-new Honda Civic sedan, so we’ve extended the scope for customers to individualise the all-new Civic hatch with the introduction of the Orange Edition,” Honda Australia Director, Stephen Collins said.

The Orange Edition is an option on the four models and available at a recommended fitted retail price of $2998. But for those who prefer the Civic sedan’s Black Pack, or if you happen to miss out on the very limited Orange Edition, Honda is also supplying a Civic sedan inspired Black Pack for the hatch. That pack is also priced at $2998, the Black Pack includes black front and rear under spoiler, side skirt, door mirror covers, and black 17-inch wheels.

  1. The Civic was already ugly enough, but this accentuates the ugly. Really I didn’t think I’d see Honda do a car uglier than Toyota or Nissan
