Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Sunriser revealed
Jeep has revealed a number of one-off models tweaked by Mopar, including this Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Sunriser.
JEEP HAS REVEALED a handful of one-off models at the Frankfurt Motor Show overnight, including this Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Sunriser, a tweaked Cherokee and a Renegade Trailhawk.
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Sunriser features exclusive matte orange paintwork and a raft of Mopar accessories including bumpers with a double tow hook on the front, a four-inch suspension lift kit and half doors. The Sunriser also features LED lights fitted between the A-pillar and windscreen – LEDs have also been used for the daytime running lights and the rear lights too.
The vehicle includes an engine skid plate and beadlock wheels. The Sunriser is powered by a 2.8 CRD engine combined with a five-speed automatic transmission.
Based on the Trailhawk model, the Jeep Cherokee KrawLer has been tweaked to “tackle the toughest driving conditions — as the name suggests by hinting at the vehicle’s “rock crawler” capabilities for navigating harsh off-road obstacles. The capital “K” and “L” in the name refer to the KL code that identifies the Cherokee nameplate”.
The Cherokee KrawLer has been lifted and gets new Mopar suspension, BFGoodrich KM2 255/80/17 off-road tyres, wider fenders, skid plates and rock sliders. The Cherokee KrawLer sports a special, military-inspired matte-green paintwork accented with quartz grey interior and exterior details. The KrawLer is powered by a 3.2 V6 Pentastar, automatic nine-speed transmission and “Jeep Active Drive Lock” four-wheel drive with low range and rear differential lock.
Mopar also added some bit to the Renegade Trailhawk, including 17-inch aluminium alloy rims, underbody skid plates, two rear tow hooks and exclusive black mirror caps.
