2016 Hyundai Elantra spied
Hyundai has only just released a design sketch and spies have already snapped a pic of the 2016 Hyundai Elantra on the production line in Korea.
THE KOREAN CAR BLOG has published several images (which were released onto a factory worker’s Facebook page) of the all-new 2016 Hyundai Elantra (which is being referred to as the 2017 model, but…) which is expected to make its debut at the LA Motor Show in November. Boasting the Korean car maker’s latest iteration of its Fluidic Sculpture design language it’s an attractive looking small car.
As expected, the all-new Elantra gets neat looking swept-back projector-style headlights, but it’s the six-bar grille that really sets the tone for the car, as it does with the Tucson SUV. The driving lights are set into a boomerang-stye flourish. At the rear, there’s a re-designed bumper and rear lights that mimic the headlights. In profile you’d suggest the Elantra has a coupe-like look.
While details are still thin in terms of what engines, etc the Elantra will run we have heard it’ll get a new suspension set-up influenced by Hyundai’s N program and one that’ll find its way under the next-generation i30.
Hyundai is expected to release official images and details in the run up to the LA Motor Show.
