Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 to arrive in July
Mercedes-Benz has made significant inroads into markets it was once never interested in. The new CLA 250 Sport4Matic is scheduled to arrive in July.
THE MERCEDES-BENZ CLA-CLASS has proved to be a real success story since launching late last year. Almost 1000 Australian buyers have taken delivery of the CLA200 petrol variant or the stunning CLA 45 AMG.
In 2014, Benz will increase the range with two new models, the CLA 200 CDI in March and the all-wheel drive CLA 250 Sport 4Matic in July.
The diesel model has a headlining 4.7L/100km fuel consumption from its 1.8-litre four-cylinder 100kW/300Nm engine. Standard equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, Becker Map Pilot sat nav and a reversing camera.
The CLA 250 Sport 4Matic runs a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine putting out a healthy 155kW and 350Nm. It gets heated electric leather sports seats with memory, and all the AMG performance and styling enhancements. The CLA 45 AMG also includes the AMG driver’s package, night package, performance steering wheel, COMAND navigation and Harmon Kardon Logic 7 surround sound.
Recommended prices are $49,900 (plus ORC) for the CLA 200, $50,400 for the CLA 200 CDI, $64,900 for the CLA 250 Sport 4Matic and $86,900 for the CLA 45 AMG Sport 4Matic.
