Ford recently announced power figures for the 2015 Ford Mustang range. More importantly it took punters for passenger rides. And let them film it. Enjoy.

Late last week, Ford USA hosted a 2015 Mustang Q&A session at its Michigan Test Facility, where it announced official weights and power output for the Mustang range, there’s still no word from Ford Australia as to what engines we’ll see. But, of more interest to Blue Oval fans will be the fact that Ford representatives, at the end of the day, took to the track for some demonstration laps.

Ford offered passenger rides in the entire range of Mustangs, but it’s the Mustang EcoBoost Performance Pack car that we’ve featured here. It sounds awesome and according to Ford, this four-cylinder variant is almost as quick on-track as the old V8-toting Mustang. Wow.

We’ll get to see more of the Ford Falcon XR8 on Friday (which will have to tide us over until the Mustang arrives Down Under), but until then, turn up the volume, sit back and enjoy. You’re welcome.
